i feel like maybe i just didn’t get it. when the movie ended i just stared at the black screen and said aloud “wtf did i just watch”

I really liked Christian Bale’s performance. He played the narcissistic and psychotic businessman perfectly. I also liked the ambiguous ending that this film had because whatever interpretation you had on whether it was real or not, we can all agree that Patrick Bateman is insane

I liked this movie but I feel like it’s a bit overrated. Christian Bale’s acting was amazing. I kind of thought that the plot point was going to be deeper and by the end I was kinda let down. Good film nonetheless and I found the psychological aspect very interesting. 7/10

I mean as a joke it’s funny, but as a movie ? I wasted my time to understand the hype around this movie just to see a few funny moments. This movie is nothing, dude just kills. I can see how he was written by a woman tho. The whole narration is like reading a Wattpad fic lol.

To like this movie is to be a Patrick Bateman. The film, the acting itself was nomination worthy, and the cinematography was brilliant, but it sickened me to the point of absolute silence. To think that somewhere there is a Patrick Bateman, make me fear the world in every aspect.

Not enjoyable to watch but I liked the idea of it more then actually watching the film. It’s about the upper classes desensitization towards sex and violence. Everyone turned out to be American psychos when it came down to their self absorption and disconnection from reality.

There were a few times I almost busted out laughing, still a good movie lol. (P.S. don’t watch with you parent unless you want the vibe of the room to be awkward 💀)
