i feel like maybe i just didn’t get it. when the movie ended i just stared at the black screen and said aloud “wtf did i just watch”

This movie took far too long to get engaging, but once it did, holy shit. I think this movie is best watched knowing it's a commentary from the start, as that's what makes it so horrifying. Even if things like this did happen in real life, we'd likely never know about it.
