Aliens vs Predator: Requiem Reviews

This movie was just alright for me. Felt kind of lackluster at times. I enjoyed the first one so much better.

Ugh I’m so conflicted because this had my favorite setting and action of nearly all the alien movies and definitely the predator movies, but it also had that cringey 2000’s action vibe where it’s just… SOOOOO WHITE. The predator movies were spoiling me😭 I knew this would happen😔

Visually better than its predecessor albeit kinda dark and hard to see. Story wise it’s decent but continuity is still weird. Acting is a little better. Most of the characters are annoying. Action is aces. Weird how it’s a free for all tho with no clear sides. The ending was disappointing and felt like a cop out.

I wish there was more action between Alien and Predator and fights you could actually see. The humans in this movie added no substance. Huge missed opportunity with the two films.

Very bad. Was good background ambience for doing chores and eating pineapple. Not a single character to root for, too dark so couldn’t even see what the aliens and predators were up to.

Enjoyable for the action. This predator was dope as hell. Pretty pointless characters that had little to no develop at time; people often died with no real reward or contribution to the plot - spoiler, I guess. Just not a good film but a decent action movie.

This movie isn’t as horrible as Alien: Resurrection but it still isn’t good. The premise is interesting and the location should be good but shows why Alien should only occur in space. The acting is bland and the cinematography is so dark. You can’t see anything. It’s just meh.

I love both Alien and Predator but this sequel is a waste of a movie: poor acting, bad writing, a lackluster plot and a ridiculous “morph”. It starts out promising and then rapidly races downhill, it’s a B movie at best.

Worst so far. Hot garbage. Shoot all action scenes in the dark. Have the predator kill people protecting themselves from the aliens they let loose. The alien predator Queen hybrid thing. Oh vey

this is one of the most boring piece of shit movies. it is so poorly lit, poorly written, poorly acted, and poorly done. it completely loses everything great about the first one and makes for a generic alien invasion garbage plot

In general, it’s a fine movie, nothing too much wrong with it. In fact I prefer the location for this series being on earth rather than on a random planet. However, it’s strange but there isn’t enough alien vs predator in this alien vs predator movie until the last 10 minutes

Whoever the fuck was in charge of the contrast cranked that shit too high
