Aliens vs Predator: Requiem

This movie was just alright for me. Felt kind of lackluster at times. I enjoyed the first one so much better.

Ugh I’m so conflicted because this had my favorite setting and action of nearly all the alien movies and definitely the predator movies, but it also had that cringey 2000’s action vibe where it’s just… SOOOOO WHITE. The predator movies were spoiling me😭 I knew this would happen😔

Visually better than its predecessor albeit kinda dark and hard to see. Story wise it’s decent but continuity is still weird. Acting is a little better. Most of the characters are annoying. Action is aces. Weird how it’s a free for all tho with no clear sides. The ending was disappointing and felt like a cop out.

Was it good? No. But did I have fun? Absolutely.

Devoid of star power and a worthwhile story. Predalien was clunky and poorly lit. Even the first AVP had more redeeming qualities.
