A-X-L

this film had such an interesting concept—a robotic dog with military technology and a soft side—but it lacked in depth. still, i liked the friendship between the boy and A-X-L, and it had some fun moments. it could've used further plot development, but it's still a good watch!

Fun movie for the whole family. Loved the robotic dog! Although this movie doesn’t have much depth, and is predictable along the way, it is still something fun to sit down with the family and watch and cheer on a robotic dog named A-X-L!

I’m not gonna pretend like this is peak cinema or anything but I thought this was a solid movie. It’s well acted, somewhat cornily written, and the effects for its budget are good. Lacks depth but I think it’s a bit underrated.

The film follows Miles, a charming psychopath framed as the hero, and Sam, a genuinely kind guy. After Sam helps and befriends him, Miles manipulates everyone, betrays Sam, exploits AXL, and spirals into treason twisting good and evil on its head. 5.3/10
