Went in blind and glad I did! It was decently spooky and had some good scary moments. Acting was solid and the premise feels so original. Loved the art direction and shot choices as well. Biggest frustration is that the ending gets pretty messy and honestly quite cheesy, but I really enjoyed everything leading up to that.

94/100 this is a rewatch from a bit ago and Iit did deserve my grade. Scary and yet angelic at he same time

The most realistic rendering of occult practice I’ve ever seen on screen - I get what some people are saying about the ending, but in the context of the film it was fine.

A favorite. It is a beautifully crafted film. It is 90% just Sophia & Solomon and at no point is that not enough. There are many layers, could even argue the 5 stages of grief are present and this is a journey through them. I prefer the idea that intent and truth of oneself is not easily found. We lie to ourselves. We gratify ourselves. We get moments to accept our real truth. Some embrace it and move forward. Others cannot and stay in darkness. So well done. I look forward to what comes next from this writer/director. 👼👼👼👼👼
