Zero Day
A political TV show with the likes of De Niro, Bassett, Plemons, and Modine. You'd expect it to be amazing, you'd expect to enjoy some powerful performances and hard-hitting truths. Well, don't waste your time. You won't get any of it. 'Zero Day' is essentially the day the earth goes from futuristic to caveman. One of my greatest fears is how the world is free falling into a completely digital era without any backups, regulations, or real protections. We shouldn't be depending on a fickle reality. As a premise, you're guaranteed fear. However, it's barely touched on. Instead, there's terrible plots, dry dialogue, slow pacing, boring politics, and annoying characters.

I only watched the first one. I liked the premise, and it was a good set up
BUT
I didn't continue as I couldn't cope with the whole 'is he losing his mind' thing.
you don't need that on top of the story. it's just lazy

First off the casting, and this is phenomenal! I absolutely loved the show. Each episode had me wanting more and I binged it in one sitting. You should definitely watch the show!

disappointed. russians, domestic terrorists, neurological weapons, government commissions???….. way too much for my little brain and too convoluted to fit into six episodes

The series is very good in all aspects, American to a point but also a realistic approach to reality behind the closed doors of power!!! You definitely don't get bored and you can watch it in one breath!!!
very good series - keeps you in suspense until the end - I recommend it ‼️‼️‼️

hard to follow at times but interesting enough to finish. there are many wide shot scenes of deniro standing and looking like an elderly toddler that made me laugh every time. i also laughed at them only considering a top secret mind melting machine as the issue and not dementia

I feel like I’ve seen the show 1 million times because it’s just like every other Netflix drama around politics. like it actually made me mad and super annoyed and the pacing sucked

7/10 great cast (lead by legendary DeNiro), Interesting story although the culprits seemed apparent from the start. A reasonable length to tell story over 6 episodes. Recommend.

5.9/10. Confused in some areas - so who killed Bambi? Why was he always hearing stuff? Was he actually attacked with the neuro weapon? It was a good feeling that he didn’t lie due to personal reasons - but then remembered this is just a show and real politics don’t work like this

I wanted to love this. I went in with high expectations based on the stacked cast and the premise for this show. However, I was slightly disappointed in it. It felt like it dragged to me, some episodes I didn’t get super invested in, so the pacing wasn’t great IMO. Sometimes it felt like too much was going on but at the same time there was no progress. The writing was okay, a lot of the twisted were interesting and dialogue was good. The cast was stacked and all killed it, the cinematography was good. It had its pros and kept me interested enough but just didn’t love it or be invested in it like I wanted.
