good 7/10

Out of all the spin-offs GX is still my overall favorite. It has a great cast, a lively setting, and surprisingly strong character arcs. Jaden’s progression from carefree to serious gives the series depth. It expands the Yu-Gi-Oh world in a fun, fresh direction that grows on you.

2/10

NSFW Warning!

I began rewatching this show as I loved it as a kid, however it quickly became clear that a lot of the themes in this show had gone completely over my head as a kid…

This show is weird… The amount of sexualization of minors in this show creeped me out a lot and was a reoccuring theme I did not see coming.

You might think I’m exaggerating, but no, (minor spoiler) the show literally has an entire episode that revolves around students and teachers peeping on underage girls in the changing room. If that wasn’t bad enough, the writers even have said girls describe very inappropriate things that they are apparently doing…

It’s all just absurd, and the fact that this is a show FOR KIDS, just makes this even worse…

I did not finish this show, I watched the first handful of episodes but after realizing how creepy this show truly is, I just couldn’t continue.
