6/10 Had high expectations going into this with all the hype surrounding it. Really great animation and some really cool moments, and Qifrey is definitely the most interesting character in the series, although it fell a little flat for me.

I had a hard time fully enjoying the rest of the characters. Coco is alright, but I cannot stand the rest of them, unfortunately. I did watch this in the dub, and both Tetia and Richeh’s characters' voices just do not fit well in my opinion. It drove me crazy, and I also was not a big fan of their personalities.

I think I’ll still watch season 2, but it just wasn’t my thing. I think if it focused more on just Coco, Qifrey, and the Brimmed Caps, then it would’ve been way more interesting.

I am absolutely engrossed by this fantastical world of magic and mythical creatures, of hats brimmed and pointed. I was hooked from episode one and somehow every single episode continued to get better as the story progressed and us as viewers in our knowledge of the laws and physics of this spellbinding world. The animation is gorgeous and the art brings the world to life so vividly. Each character has incredible depth. There is so much mystery and countless unanswered questions that it leaves you frustrated with the unknown yet content with new things revealed. If you are a fan of fantasy or even if you’re not, give this show a chance.

One of my new favourites!! I love the magic system and the issues and nuances that surround their witch society. The characters feel real and the animation and score are beautiful. The foreshadowing is great as well. This season my fav character was Richeh 😋

I was never originally planning to watch this but my friend kept bugging me about it so I caved, and I’m happy I did. Very interesting and unique take on anime magic. And a lot of intrigue with the characters and lore and the mystery.

Breathtaking animation. I love the theme where magic is not an innate talent but something everyone can do but I also love that it's a secret loll. Great voice acting. I've watched sub of course but dub version is good too thanks to Joshua Waters. The season was very short though
