I probably shouldn’t be rating this, as I will not be finishing the anime; however, the novel disgusted me in so many ways. I couldn’t fully enjoy the truly well written parts because certain aspects made me very uncomfortable. The fanbase has its fair share of weirdos, too.

feeling in between “meh” and “like,” leaning towards “like.”
and i wanted to LOVE this show; i’d heard nothing but good things and almost all my friends that have seen it have it in their top 10.
this show gets heavy at some points, but the characters are just….. not that likable, especially the main character satou😭 he has little to no development up until the last couple of episodes and pissed me off most of the time. misaki deserved better
the “off” meeting and the ending were my highlights. 6.2/10

Whole thing was really hard to finish because there really are no lovable characters imo. Each episode, you wish to see development from the main character but you don’t and it’s frustrating but you see his little efforts and moral compass somehow. The ending made it worth while.

Surprisingly really good watch! The first few episodes might throw some people off but it’s really a mater of trusting the process. Loved the realistic depiction of an actual loser LOL

I love the entire story, the character dynamics between Sato and all the others were absolutely incredible and it was a perfect show all the way through
