Rooster Reviews

Show was a lot of fun, I liked each of the characters. Excited for season 2.

9/10

It's rare yet inevitable, but HBO does actually release some slop sometimes. I don't understand what the story is here, nor do I understand why this is considered one. I was waiting for something to pull me in, but by episode 5, it started feeling more like a chore to complete. Great cast, decent soundtrack, boring characters, soppy emotional cues, and lazy comedy. I know the American education system is mostly just a bunch of theatrics, but somehow, this managed to make it feel both under- and over-exaggerated.

has a great cast who play messy characters and an easy breezy storyline that keeps you interested

es medio rara

Tinha saudades de ver o Carrell a fazer me rir só com a awkwardness dele 😂😂😂

While the first episode on its own didn’t grab me, keep watching and you’ll find a cast you’ll connect with, love them or hate them. From the same team behind Shrinking it doesn’t reach the heights of that show but being two seasons behind it may yet catch up.

9/10 🍺 I don't know how this series escaped the readers of the site, it's simply amazing to watch! Carrell brilliantly combines drama and comedy and gives a full performance! Lawrence directs another enjoyable series after Ted Lasso, where he brilliantly adds touches of black humor where needed to reduce the tension for the viewer. A series that collaborates again with Dunster, who rationally plays the charming professor. Very good humor about cancel culture, feminism and much more. I liked it very much, I can't wait for the sequel!

need season 2 STAT

Eh.. I am much more interested in all the supporting characters compared to Steve Carrell’s character. It was something to watch when I wanted to play something while feeling non committed. It was easy to pause/turn off this show before the episodes ended 4/10

Steve is great in this serious role

Loved

A cozy, easy watch. Nothing you haven’t seen before, but mildly interesting enough to watch. It wasn’t meh, but like feels a bit too forward. I need a “it’ll do” option.

Steve is back with his “the office” type awkward comedy, which I loved btw. The jokes are intelligent and seem very natural as each character develops. Liked it very much

Great show with great character design.

Really fun show excited for more seasons

Didn’t love it, didn’t dislike it.. solid mid-tier show.. for me, the best parts are whenever Steve carrell is on screen
