Trust Me: The False Prophet

Are there laws against cults in the States or what, cause there should be! Terrifying that so many people are being born into this system and they don’t even stand a chance and will never have the opportunity to think for themselves or challenge their beliefs. These poor women, truly frightening what lengths men go to.

The strength lies in the relationships that the documentarian builds with the FLDS women, who are portrayed less as fanatical lunatics, but as people trapped in an abusive system. Without her, I shudder to think how long the abuse could have gone on. Bateman was truly disturbing.
