This was good but a little too long imo. Spent way too much time in the middle

The Truth and Tragedy of Moriah Wilson tells the heartbreaking story of Moriah “Mo” Wilson, a talented professional cyclist whose life was tragically cut short. The documentary examines her accomplishments as an athlete, the relationships surrounding her, and the investigation that followed her murder. Rather than focusing only on the crime, it also gives viewers a better understanding of who Moriah was and the promising future she had ahead of her.

One of the strongest parts of the documentary is the way it presents Moriah as more than the victim of a true-crime story. She was a gifted and determined athlete who was quickly becoming successful in competitive cycling. Hearing about her life and ambitions makes the tragedy of her death even more difficult to understand.

The documentary also examines the complicated circumstances surrounding her murder and the investigation that eventually led authorities to her killer. The case involves jealousy, romantic relationships, and an attempt to avoid capture, which makes the story feel almost unbelievable at times. However, knowing that these events actually happened makes the documentary much more disturbing.

I found The Truth and Tragedy of Moriah Wilson interesting but also very sad. True-crime documentaries can sometimes focus so heavily on the person responsible for a crime that the victim becomes almost forgotten. This documentary is most effective when it focuses on Moriah, her accomplishments, and the impact her death had on the people who loved her.

Overall, I would recommend The Truth and Tragedy of Moriah Wilson to viewers interested in true crime and real-life investigations. It is a tragic story, but it also serves as a reminder that behind every crime is a real person, a family, and a life that cannot be reduced to a headline.

this was a good documentary. i adored how it centred focus on Mariah and her life, rather than just her killer. you can tell she was really loved.
