i think u need to watch dr who to really understand it but i absolutely love torchwood. grew up watching dw & this so it's v nostalgic💌

i’d suggest to watch doctor who before this, even if the vibes aren’t the same.
this is more psychological, brutal and REAL. cool plots and great main character, there’s a bit of everything which makes it various.
first two seasons are iconic and s3 is a masterpiece.

I love this spin off it’s so cool and I love the writing but by the end it got so dark man, but I love captain jack so.

As far as spin offs go, Torchwood was quite good. Adult Dr Who with good humour

Sobbed at the season 2 finale. Miracle day/season four is mediocre (and aggressively American) but the rest of the show is brilliant
