this was messy. was the Tim Curry 🍇 scene absolutely necessary? and the weird magical realism Alice the maid went through just didn't make sense. the only thing that I liked that it gave Madeleine Astor and actual arc.

i do not like this film at all. watched it again a year ago and i never want to put myself through that another time. it's well done and very interesting but the storyline and certain scenes make me hate it - not in a sad way but an unexplainably mad and annoyed way
