Only two episodes in, and I can already tell this is going to be iconic, like a token for all the cinephiles. The amount of references is bonkers and the level of information/appreciation goes beyond inspiring. Although nothing is as sharp as the ridiculous satire and stunning cinematography. Wasn't too sure about Seth but all the star-studded cast members and cameos deliver exactly what you want in the Hollywood style you want it. The premise isn't new, but the execution is by far the best attempt yet. You probably won't feel the full effect if you're clueless about cinema. Most Apple shows turn stale by s2 but I can't see how that's possible with this, so I hope there's more.

I mean this in the best way possible but it really feels like a 2025 wokeish entourage. It's good, probably cheesier than it needs to be. I love Kathryn Hahn but they need to work on her dialogue

A satirical comedy that pokes fun at the film industry and the people involved in movie making. Great dialogue/script, brilliant cinematography with lots of one-shot takes that increase tension. The cameos really elevate it. This pretty much pulls the cover back on moviemaking.

There is no movies without the people that make them 💛 worth the watch for the cinematography and score. An insane cast and honestly a dream show to make.

That second episode was the most annoying thing I have ever watched in my life. Definitely not continuing on after that.

I love these types of “look behind the curtain” shows, and this one delivered everything I was hoping for. There were a lot of movie references that admittedly flew over my head but the show is great regardless. Sometimes the characters felt a little over-the-top, but the two part finale came together in such a cohesive and unified manner that made it all worth it. If season 2 continues off that same momentum it’s guaranteed to be great

Such a great show, always managed to raise the stakes past what I thought was even possible. Fun references to movies and film culture as well

If you’re someone who really loves movies and tv, very interesting show with star studded cameos in literally every episode.

Most hilarious and inspiring piece of work rogenberg has put together in awhile.

Clever and fun for the most part, if inconsistent from episode to episode. If you’re able to stomach some of the most excruciatingly uncomfortable moments ever put to the small screen, you’ll be rewarded with instances of physical comedy genius

Great cast, awesome references, genuinely funny. Just stop being pretentious and realise this is actually amazing.

It’s a fun show to watch. I love all the actors playing “themselves”. Sometimes it’s too stupid and the lead character is too obnoxious at times but it’s good.

This is a brilliant show! Every episode is a masterpiece in cinema, with clear or more hidden references to loads of different movies, I only wish they were longer and the show had more episodes. It would be great to have a season 2!

Funny satire of Hollywood.
Some episodes were hilarious, others just OK.

It had its funny moments. It was a little ridiculous but I think that was the whole point.

So funny, so well put together overall. The last 2 episodes were both absolute masterpieces. Each episode has something that someone would like or find funny. Really really good. 10/10.
