I loved Simon Baker’s acting all throughout this series, he plays emotionally stunted drug addicted lawyer very well. You go through his time on probation working as a Legal Guardian lawyer for children finding them homes and sometimes fighting for their best options. While working on the relationships in his life from the one with his father, to the girl he “falls in love with,” and his co workers. If you think about going into this because it sounds heartwarming don’t because it’s very depressing and it is continually depressing.

Lawyer gets in trouble getting caught with drugs. This is his story of managing his work with the corporate firm (work) and legal aid (community service hours).

Good lawyer show. Typical for its era
