PEAK ROMANCE One of the best romances I’ve seen. It doesn’t just tackle the relationship, but self-love, friendship, family, school, and more. It makes their lives feel real and not just all about the relationship. Wholesome and emotional with every character being great. 8/10

although i can't say this is one of my all time favorite animes (yet), i LOVE and recommend the manga to everyone, so i'm very happy it got a true-to-page adaptation. i'm really hoping for a season two or movie that will cover my favorite 'arcs' of the manga!
fragrant flower is so much more than a romance story. the themes of friendship, communication, emotional maturity, and genuine connection are super heavy.
a really good piece on overcoming physical societal expectations and how beauty isn't just about what you look like, but how you see and interact with the world around you.

2.5 Not my style of anime. I don’t really resonate with the characters, nor did I particularly like one more than the other. I didn’t like how MC ended up not having much character development. The FC has very surface level personality. Its was mainly a found family than romance.

Very cute highschool drama. I love the ml and his story. I love the friendships as well. I just think I’ve outgrown high school romances 😭 my only critique is the English dubbing for the mfc was soo odd. The weird slowness in the speech and manner of speaking was weird to me

9/10 A solid romance. Surprised I would enjoy this as much as I did as in my opinion the series title threw me off going into it. I like the character dynamics and the buildup and how there is actually progression and it’s not just a slow burn into nothing. I also appreciate the themes of friendship as well and some of the characters overcoming past hardships. Now what keeps me from giving this a higher rating is the fact that every character interaction is like how you would speak to your manager at work, every character tiptoes around each other and constantly apologizes or treats each other like they’re their mom or dad. I understand and appreciate how they all try to understand each other and overcome the fact that their schools are rivals but sometimes it was a bit overboard and I couldn’t take it seriously. I also just wish they would be more confident and not apologize all the time like every character is so worried about wasting each others time lol. I just hope the character dynamic becomes more casual later in the series like how friends the same age would usually talk to each other haha but I do get how it’s being respectful but it does throw me off.

I thought the ending was quite meh and would say that there should be another season cos if that's it then I am underwhelmed. The buildup was cute but I feel like with the amount of episodes there wasn't enough time for it to really flourish like the title says it does.

I LOVE THIS SHOW. I love it so much. there is a LOT of apologizing in this shows that gets a bit annoying, & writing isn't exactly top notch, sometimes they kinda sound like NPCs but besides that, this is peak. I'd toy like romance anime, this is a really good one to watch

I mean really best way to describe this would be short and sweet it just wasn’t fulfilling. Things weren’t bad but nothing was great and you could find way better to watch with very similar plots.

I liked this show, he’s cute but they don’t even kiss in the end 🙃 honestly a very low cortisol watch so there’s that :) it’s literally a story about good high school kids apologizing and loving each other 🫶🏼
