The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity

PEAK ROMANCE One of the best romances I’ve seen. It doesn’t just tackle the relationship, but self-love, friendship, family, school, and more. It makes their lives feel real and not just all about the relationship. Wholesome and emotional with every character being great. 8/10

although i can't say this is one of my all time favorite animes (yet), i LOVE and recommend the manga to everyone, so i'm very happy it got a true-to-page adaptation. i'm really hoping for a season two or movie that will cover my favorite 'arcs' of the manga!

fragrant flower is so much more than a romance story. the themes of friendship, communication, emotional maturity, and genuine connection are super heavy.

a really good piece on overcoming physical societal expectations and how beauty isn't just about what you look like, but how you see and interact with the world around you.

speachless even after i've read the manga

It’s actually a really cute series! I wasn’t too interested by the Romeo & Juliet situation the story has with the rivaling schools, it just felt way too forced without elaborating much on it. But I enjoyed the characters and the ways they develop throughout the story!
