Mike flanagan continues to create amazing artistic dialogue and storytelling. Every monologue is poetic and tells a story in itself. Mike is the king of slow-burn horror.

Not as good as hill house but still pretty good. Needs more lgbtqia+ members and Netflix needs to be more political in their shows.

Tooo many gay characters. Wanted to watch this but don’t wanna watch things with so much sex and gayness. Very disappointing especially in comparison to his other shows.

A twisted and haunting portrayal of greed and evil, and the consequences of selling your soul. Flanagan delivers once again, applying his intricate brand of storytelling to adapt the works of Edgar Allen Poe. Gruesome, heartbreaking and engrossing, a must-watch!

I wasn’t sure that I’d like this one, but goddamn it was ride. It was different than all the other series, definitely much darker imo, and so much more repulsive. But even so it’s storyline elevated it and made something extremely memorable. Highly recommend. 9/10

This was wild af! Mike Flanagan has no chill. This was a brilliantly executed story. Definitely a 10/10 and I think my top favorite of all Mike’s series on Netflix. It’s not much to say really, but go check it out 😂

Brilliant. Mike Flanagan has consistently delivered some of the most beautiful & chilling horror out there, and this show is no exception. The show is mostly shitty people dying in satisfyingly shitty ways, but there are some touching moments & likable folks to balance this out.

Still love the Haunting of Hill House/Bly Manor more but Carla Gugino is amazing, the aesthetics are on point, and it’s a modern story that works even if you hardly remember any Edgar Allen Poe stories like me.
