The anime’s art nails the era’s vibe and is fucking beautiful to watch but chaotic scenes sometimes lose focus. Action’s solid, but humor’s hit or miss. The protagonist’s escapes add charm, yet the story lacks a strong hook to keep you eagerly watching.

I just enjoyed the show it was really good to watch. Wasn’t bored once.

I Love the fun group of Kids specialized in various fields coming together to take back their Lords land and Title.
They are all so Unique and interesting its so great as wel as how we're getting a little History lesson to.

That was beautiful, felt like i was watching art. Also banger story

Dropped at season 2 episode 5, I enjoyed S1 mostly but unfortunately this second season isn’t doing it for me, the mix of genres just really doesn’t work but I will say the main character designs are strong and the concept is good, unfortunately just not executed well, 5.8/10

Hopefully there will be a season 2

7/10 Really was not sure how this series would go. I heard a few things about it but not too much. It seems like one of those everyday anime that is afraid to show lots of violence, but this anime doesn’t shy away from it. Although it does blend a lot of comedy into it which at times works but sometimes it’s a bit too much and it feels forced. I liked the start of the story and the premise but towards the middle/end it got a bit slow, I know there’s a buildup for a reason but I wish it would keep a bit more of that starting suspense it had. I did love how at moments they would really amp up the animation quality and it was really good. I think I will watch season 2 whenever it comes out.

Never have I seen an anime make beheading sound and feel so trivial.

I need more of this , give me 5 more seasons

First of all, the artwork is really fascinating and beautiful and sometimes unsettling. But I didn’t love the show. I kept losing interest so it took me over a year to finish just 12 episodes, and the ending felt so weak and rushed. I don’t feel like they tied up any loose ends.

Genuinely one of the nicest looking anime’s ever, but I swear he was running faster than the plot did.

The Elusive Samurai has solid animation and enjoyable characters, though the story and humor sometimes miss the mark. The main character’s movements are smooth, and some fight scenes really stand out. A 7/10—worth watching a few episodes to get a feel for it.
