The Count of Monte Cristo Reviews

One of the truer adaptations I've had a chance to watch. This show has meticulously crafted performances, stunning costumes, and a tightly wound plot that unravels with a lot of emotional drama.

Very well done. Fantastic story and the acting and set pieces were amazing.

PBS ya kidding with this??? Excellent. First time watching this story, very well done. Would have liked to see more of the aftermath than bogged down in the side characters but hey I didn’t write the book

Loved watching with the fam

Watched the French 2024 movie and the US 2002 movie, and while both were good in their own interpretations this series was so much better. There’s so much ground to cover that the movies can’t cover it all. One big change I would make is that they would have saved Fernand for last.

They changed too much from the book. Maybe if I had never read the book I would like it, but far too much was changed. Edmond didn’t have as much aura in this, he was telling everybody who he was no hesitation like???

The original revenge story, and they did an outstanding job!
