one of those shows where you watch it and it’s bad but you keep watching it bc ur already too far in and it’s still bad up until the very end

Everyone dying in this studio me included if there ain’t a season two

Felt a bit more like "The Uglies". The casting makes my skin sink, the story makes my brain pulsate, the sequences make my bones ache, and the overall atmosphere and vibe make my body clench. All abnormally, by the way. FX outdo themselves yet again, although Ryan Murphy, not so much. The soundtrack is great, but the scene pairing... simply put, I felt like I was undergoing the beauty process itself. I get the point of a cliffhanger, but was it necessary? My interest in season two has already dropped a tonne. Overall, I'm on board with the message, just not with the approach...at all.

I really liked the concept of an STD that makes you beautiful (with obvious severe side effects). But it’s also an interesting commentary on beauty standards and how much we as a society compare ourselves to others. Our desires to be prettier, skinnier, hotter consume us and we don’t care about the side effects even if it destroys us. We should learn to be happy in our own skin and love how we were made

Entre cette série et Pluribus on est servi ! J’ai clairement besoin d’une saison 2 ça va être long.

Les épisodes courts comme ça en plus qu’est ce qu’on aime !!! L’intrigue est trop bien c’est hyper actuel c’est clairement quelque chose d’ancré dans notre génération la superficialité.

On essaie tous d’atteindre la perfection physique, d’être les plus beaux, les plus attirants, mais au fond c’est ce qu’il y a de plus moche. Certaines personnes sont tellement moches que la seule chose qui les caractérise, c’est leur beauté.

En tout cas je n’ai pas le moindre doute que si un produit tel quel était mis en vente demain, 95% des gens se jetteraient dessus.

Unfortunately I felt like some of the writing and the pacing was as self indulgent as the characters injecting themselves in the show.

Ended on a cliff hanger 2/10 for that alone. If they had tied it off somewhat this would easily have been a 8/10. It’s like AHS was back again but they fumbled it at the end.

idk why i watched the whole thing. the substance if it was 10x worse. they spoke in tiktok lingo and were bad at acting. i get sex was a plot point but it was excessive. weird extensive flashback scene that was so out of order they shouldve just done it chronologically.

2 episodes in and the body horror is 🤌

As far as body horror goes this is on the bottom end of recent releases. Dialogue is rough and plot is disjointed.

Boring

It’s was great at the start by ep 7 it started to feel prolonged. I think Ryan wants this to be a season 2 but season 1 was flourishing and then plummeted we could’ve had something so much more interesting in 1 season but that’s Ryan Murphy, making 10 new shows at a time. 5.8/10

Hey so frick you. I hate cliffhangers and this one’s real nasty. I’m suing…. But not really cause I want a season two

A bit of a discombobulated ride but that’s very typical of Ryan Murphy. Dislike cliffhanger endings when renewal is so tenuous. It gave me vibes of early 2000s FX experimental cable tv.
