Better than Mando. 11/10

This is literally the best star wars writing. Ever. Sorry I don’t make the rules, this show is next level. I love it.

Takes a minute to warm up, but into the most intriguing Star Wars tv by far. Smart political drama, impressive vfx, good casting, and actual ideas - unlike every other SW show

Just go watch, the Mandalorian and skip this show.

With the reputation that Disney has given Star Wars, this was highly unexpected. Other than maybe the first season of 'The Mandalorian', this is by far the best series in the collection. I like the approach of using short stories to progress the main story, although it gets sort of repetitive at times. The casting is amazing, bringing back characters from previous projects, and using powerhouses like Skarsgård and Lesser really does make a difference. The themes, tones and relevance in dark subject matter feel like everything the mature fanbase has been yearning for. Andor proves that the heart of Star Wars doesn't lie in just lightsabers and spaceships but in characters, politics, and stories of oppression and struggle. Also, the score, CGI and authenticity are simply unbelievable.

This is the greatest piece of Star Wars media

Top 3 show this year and I’m not a big Star Wars fan

Very good start so far. As I’ve said on Facebook this show isn’t for kids and not in a bad way. It’s an adult drama with some good acting and character depth with a good story so far. It will bore your kids. It’s a drama that happens to be about Star Wars. Not the othr way arnd

Elevates SW to a more human, adult level. Loved the intricate story, political intrigue, rich themes, and more mature tone. Top-notch performances, complex characters. Most subplots are interesting, but some more than others. Visuals, music, production, scope are also wonderful.

Absolutely phenomenal series, perfect for the times. How were there so many intensely emotional moments highlighting the struggle and sacrifice of revolution against facism? The dialogue is also just full of bangers. The highest levels of political intrigue all spy media has to…

Best piece of star wars content in a long time

This show was great, don’t get me wrong, but it just wasn’t for me
I completely agree with the comments about writing, simply brilliant, the acting was great, but some characters man…it’s Disney, I get it, but LGHDTV, really?
Regardless, started slow, the second half was amazing

Really good Star Wars show. Slow burn but good

This series feels very slow and too spread out- if it was a 6 ep series instead of 12, it would’ve been 10x better

It was ok in my opinion. I had to force myself to watch it and get through an episode. I thought I would like it better after getting through the first episode but no. It just didn’t interest me that much.

Boring and too long.
I liked the characters, but the story is just so dull, especially by the 4th and 5th episodes.

absolute peak star wars. i loved this show from start to finish. a few episodes dragged but it was great to see star wars from a new perspective. it brought a real human element to the table and showed the rebellion in a whole new light. can’t wait for season 2, and more cassian.

8,5/10

Andor is a dark and mature Star Wars series with a great story, strong characters, and plenty of suspense. It feels more realistic and serious than most Star Wars shows, with an amazing atmosphere and some really intense moments.

9.5/10 - The best thing to come out of Disney Star Wars. Acting, writing, and storytelling at its absolute finest.
