86/100 phenomenal first season, tragic passing of main actor was heartbreaking. S2 prequel felt off, I think they had to though while they recast. Show was solid throughout though.

Season 1 is a 10/10. Show as a whole is fantastic. The story is great and the shift from arena to
all-out warfare was awesome. The blood and gore was stylistic and powerful. Loved the characters and uniqueness of them. RIP Andy Whitfield he was the perfect Spartacus.

I can’t get over how bad the background and special effects look.
