Easily, and I mean easily, one of the best shows I have ever seen.

i love this show and ben stiller’s mind so fucking much but god dammit the cliffhangers are too much. S2 finale left me more unsatisfied than the first (and i was highly frustrated by that suspenseful ending and having to wait 2 years) - i need questions answered in order to get excited for the next revelation and i just didn’t get enough of that throughout the second season. (plus, this isn’t a fucking romance?!?) the first gives you so much to unravel and look forward to, but S2 just doesn’t fulfill that hunger to my satisfaction. the pacing is also worse than previous and that’s not the direction we should be going. however, the acting, scenery, mystery and cinematography was very much elevated this season and that should be praised. (can’t wait for a new intro 🤤) but god i hate leaving something desiring so much more. that’s why this got knocked down from a love to a like; just need exceedingly more of this glorious mindfuck and not getting it quick enough. 8/10

Page 197 slaps, and so does severance. Holy shit, last two episodes were an absolute ride.

One of the best Apple TV productions. Finally, a mystery spread evenly throughout a few, very quick, hour-long episodes. I was hooked on the psychology at play. Everything you see/hear is real life. It goes even deeper and darker than the average viewer would ever realise. You want to know why it's so bizarre but it won't explicitly tell you. My mind was at 100mph. The pace runs scenes long enough for you to theorise. The cliffhangers don't take away from the entire episode and the acting triggered real reactions in me. Directing, writing, design, camerawork, casting? Starts innocent then stuns its way into deliverance. S2 on the other hand, deletes the mystery and ignores the questions. Ugh.

The first season is WILD. I hate the amount of anticipation I have now for the next season, knowing it probably won’t be soon.

I think I really enjoyed it but it’s giving Westworld with intentionally overcomplicating and making everything an overly deep vibe with weird characters. That being said some of it is really really clever

This is an insanely slept on show and it quickly became one of my favorites

The concept didn’t have me hooked at first but the execution of each episode changed that

The writers of this show think that confusion = entertainment. The last episode is gripping but have fun sitting through seven hours of the most boring show known to man to get there.

I finished the season 2 finale just a couple minutes ago, and I cannot believe what I just watched. This show is utter perfection. I watched Severance season 1 for the first time just a month or two ago, and I was so glad I waited so long because of how insane the cliffhanger ending was. “Waiting 3 years for that would have been brutal,” I thought to myself… Please, Ben Stiller, let season 3 come soon. This is EXACTLY the same as before 🥲

I literally love everything about this show. The concept is fascinating and creates so many interesting dynamics, the characters are great, the performances are great, the set design and music are great, the writing is great - I could go on. I’m honestly still in shock that Adam Scott was able to put on such a performance. I loooved him in Parks and Rec, but had never seen him in a dramatic role, and it does not disappoint. He and Britt Lower are both fantastic.

But the main thing I love about this show has to be its concept and plot. It’s such a simple, interesting concept that is used in so many fascinating ways, and the setting of Lumon is just perfect for this plot. Oh my god please season 3 now

Went into it knowing nothing about the plot. I really only started it because I love Adam Scott. Hadn’t heard many people talk about it. DAMN. It’ll change your whole perspective. Cannot wait for the second season

Many loved this but I thought was ok but may have not paid as much attention while watching so could effect my rating.

A near perfect first season

When s1 was out, this was the only show that ever made me slam my hand on my table. Now, w/s2, it’s the only show that’s ever made me do it consistently. Every ep has reveals & a plot twist now, it’s insane. +the writing, acting & cinematography are ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

I LOVED this show. Definitely a slow burn and the ending left me on the edge of my seat waiting for a season 2.

Honestly couldn’t put it down. This grounded sci fi show has the perfect mix of weird and thrilling.

I loved S1 so much.The OP was dope as always.Was slow paced and some ep weren’t as thrilling as S1 (would've been better if they released S2 in one shot), focused more into drama, but still the questions kept piling up.I still love it sm&hoping S3 is released soon & is the finale
