Severance

Easily, and I mean easily, one of the best shows I have ever seen.

i love this show and ben stiller’s mind so fucking much but god dammit the cliffhangers are too much. S2 finale left me more unsatisfied than the first (and i was highly frustrated by that suspenseful ending and having to wait 2 years) - i need questions answered in order to get excited for the next revelation and i just didn’t get enough of that throughout the second season. (plus, this isn’t a fucking romance?!?) the first gives you so much to unravel and look forward to, but S2 just doesn’t fulfill that hunger to my satisfaction. the pacing is also worse than previous and that’s not the direction we should be going in. however, the acting, scenery, mystery and cinematography was very much elevated this season and that should be praised. (can’t wait for a new intro 🤤) but god i hate leaving something desiring so much more. that’s why this got knocked down from a love to a like; just need exceedingly more of this glorious mindfuck and not getting it quick enough. 8/10

Page 197 slaps, and so does severance. Holy shit, last two episodes were an absolute ride.

Great show. Plays a bit of a mind game on you so you have to stay engaged, but would highly recommend. I’d rate this show an 8.5.
