8/10 - great setup for a story with more seasons to come. Interested to see where this goes. Gives me a lot of FMAB vibes with corruption and world building. Overall great setup for a hopefully great story. First episode was one of the best pilots I’ve seen

Really interesting storyline. Didn’t necessarily like the goddess but the rest of the characters were memorable.

As I love playing Action RPG and Survival games, I threw this on for those gritty, high-stakes vibes. Expected a typical fantasy, but the gritty survival and resurrection premise completely hooked me.

What Worked:
• Turning the “Hero” title into a brutal punishment is honestly a super fresh spin.
• Iizuka’s quirky energy as Teoritta perfectly balances Xylo’s heavy, cynical mood.
• Studio KAI’s chaotic frontline battles absolutely pop on screen.

The Friction:
• Introducing the massive penal hero roster made the middle really drag for me.
• Repetitive political scheming honestly pulled me out of the intense action I wanted.

Verdict:
Watch for a gritty twist on the hero trope. Skip if you hate heavy world-building.

Can’t believe this isn’t getting more love. Stunning animation. Banger OP. Coloring is fantastic and brings life to the world. Character and enemy design is awesome. Pacing is perfect. The story is interesting and has some mystery, but doesn’t reveal anything until necessary. All of the characters are fleshed out just enough and the hero squad is full of uniquely talented people with their own personalities. The whole power system is designed exceptionally and the mystery of the goddesses is fun to watch be expounded upon.

What a great season of anime. Fantastic action and animation. The characters are super fun and the story is interesting. I can’t wait for season two!!!

i’m actually so sad there’s not more to watch rn, after that insane season finale. the animation is GORGEOUS, and the episodes fly by. i’ll be waiting on season 2’s arrival, i’m more than ready

Started off super strong, but then kind of failed to deliver on that with the following episodes. Kivia plot was pretty neat, and so was another surprise there. But I found myself just not watching it as we tailed toward the end.

I did not expect this to be this good. Caught off guard by this but in the best way.

Great first season. That ending got me hooked

6/10 Saw this series got a lot of recent hype so I checked it out. Animation is really good and the concept is cool. For me the story fell a bit and it got a little uninteresting for me but the ending did surprise me so maybe will check out season 2.
