Best series of all time

This is the first time we’re getting a Marvel series that’s not necessarily devoted to the super heroics… this is really a spy thriller. More gritty and grounded than the comics Marvel series, this leads the characters in a politically-charged thriller in the tradition of CA TWS.

what was it trying to do

Not the best… felt unlike Marvel for the most part.. I didn’t hate it as much as others, but was definitely “meh” 5.7/10

The show gives us intriguing espionage beats, yet the Skrull threat feels surprisingly tame compared to its comic origins. While Jackson & Olivia Colman deliver strong performances, the small-scale approach undercuts the promise of paranoia & world-changing revelations.
