Fever dream

I’m genuinely unable to form an opinion on this, on one hand, this is beautifully ambitious and is really effective in how it tells the story, however, this uniqueness also had me so incredibly lost so despite how well made it is, I have no clue what happened, 5/10 I think, idk

I know people didn’t like this very much but I am a sucker for psychological dramas

also i havent played the game yet so I have nothing to compare it to

as someone who is obsessed with the game: was the anime necessary? no
am i completely biased and ate this up anyways? yes idc :D

as someone who played the game i thought the anime was kinda unnecessary. i think the story could of been better but the animation was really cool. the only reason it didn’t get the thumbs down is because i like the game and the animation for this was good

I’ve never played the game, but loved the show. The visuals were amazing. 3D performances did look weird, but otherwise loved the mixed media art. It was pretty heady at times, but also had some incredible exposition and made some points that need to be heard in this day and age.

almost gave this a thumbs down but i honestly really liked some parts of it. the scenes with style changes in the animation/video were neat, and i enjoyed the backgrounds for some of the characters. idk if i’d watch again tho
