Midnight Mass Reviews

This is a truly special show. It’s not a horror but the last two episodes are some of the most intense hours i’ve been engaged in. The characters all feel real and they have been written to perfection to either love or hate. Do yourself a favor and just watch this.

i am not a show watcher i can assure you. just finished this show in tears and all i have to say is that it is done beautifully. i wasn’t crying in fear of what the show might turn to, i was crying in fear and sadness for the characters that this show so wonderfully develops.

What an interesting story… it’s a solid 7. The nuances of religion vs the occult. The hymns sung as people burned alive. Honestly really freaky, but I had to watch it on 2x speed because the plot progression was too slow!! Not every ep had to be an hour plus 🙄

Each episode ends in an interesting manner. Why did the woman who played the mom look younger than everyone else, I have no idea. Father Paul should win an award for his performance.

Perfect. It has the jump scares, the suspense, betrayal, and it invokes real fear. The story elements are fantastic, coming together at the right time and ending on the right notes. Flanagan will forever go down in history as one of the best new age horror writers. Easy 10/10…..

really enjoyed it. almost a heart but there were about 4 or 5 different monlogues throughout the whole series they are misplayed and drag on. 8 out of 10

A must watch series for anyone who loves the elevated horror genre. Midnight Mass is one of the best vampire stories set in modern times. The writing gives you just enough every episode to really get drawn into the story and characters, and the cast are all brilliant.

Absolutely amazing show that reminded me of the movie Sinners. Extremely similar in a weird way. The “Angel” was insanely creepy, and the acting was incredible. I loved all the characters and the music. The horror was so well done too. This shows how much we need Christ. 10/10.

Too preachy for me and too many 10 minute monologues from every character multiple times an episode. Weakest series compared to the others

This show is nothing like I have ever witnessed. How can horror and faith mix so perfectly? It paints such an amazing story of faith, fate, and just everything I love. This show is awesome, but not perfect. I would give this an easy 9/10. You must witness this greatness.

Sobbing crying throwing up & all that. Gorgeous show also like almost all the characters were kinda 😏 also what tf was Erin going on about at the end ALSO interesting how one of the only people to really die was the queer character 🤔 still loved it. Would live on that island ngl.

monologue after monologue after monologue. sooo boring. nothing like hill house or bly manor. it was terrifying tho, that angel demon in the dark cave scene made we actually scream.

A proper good horror story. The best non Stephen King story written. Has all his fingerprints over it from a director who understands this genre. Loved it.
