The season opened strong: Episode 1 set the tone with a solid atmosphere and the right kind of tension, while Episode 2 was the standout with its wild Mad Max vibe, high energy, and brutal gore — plus a surprise highlight in Baron Zemo. Episode 3 kept the quality up with an intense opening and some bold twists, though its tone shifted into something closer to Valhalla than New Asgard. Unfortunately, Episode 4 dragged the momentum down; not because it left questions unanswered for the future, but because it felt confusing in the moment and oddly disjointed compared to what came before.

Overall, an entertaining and stylish miniseries with some fantastic highs, but the format of four short episodes left it uneven. It might have worked even better as one cohesive animated film, where the pacing and story beats could have unfolded more smoothly.

I really enjoyed this and it was quite fun also seeing all the different characters meeting one another was cool i liked the mature rating and the kills of the zombies hopefully they make a season 2 and I can’t wait to see what happens next especially with that ending

Marvel cooked here! You could tell they cared about this and knew the fans would absolutely appreciate it if they did it well. Such a shock to me that marvel keeps taking these street level relatively boring characters and making banger shows and movies about them. Blade knight or moon blade or whatever was fucking aura incarnate, that man had me on a leash when he was on screen. I really liked the story and the way they tell it, it was kinda short and a tad rushed, but I think it helps to give you a full on carnage embodied show. The animation kinda went crazy at some parts as well, I was really skeptical of how they would handle it, considering that it’s based on What If and I don’t love how that looks as well as the new Spider-man show. But it was pulled off really well here, it looks great and when the action got intense, the animation looked colourful and vibrant.

10/10 Every episode has its own vibe but it has a cohesive theme. It manages to keep every characters personality in every way even though they are zombies. The gore is inmaculate and fights scenes are SO GOOD! Better than some live action movies even Marvel ones, definitelywatch

Wow I had no idea this was only 4 episodes. TBH, I wanted… more. This actually did what DS: MOM did for me, which is lean too much into the marvel and not enough into the GENRE. There were definitely some cool moments with gore and deaths, but I wish they had the right tone😞

Why is Disney reusing the same exact formula for every animated "series", and do four episodes really count as one? The action is great, the sequences are wonderful, the lore is intriguing, and the cast is compelling, but…the oversaturated and misplaced comedy is jarring, the cheap plot shortcuts are unsatisfying, the flat and random character introductions are puzzling, and the emotional pulls are wasted. Simply put, for everything inevitably positive, there's something generically negative, and it's exhausting because the potential is so clearly there.

Despite the vivid animation and high-octane action sequences, Marvel Zombies isn’t the most accessible title.

This is probably about 5-6/10 for me. Surprisingly I want more, 4 episodes wasn’t enough. It somehow has me intrigued especially with the way it ended. But I’m not a huge fan of the animation style, did not like it in what if but it seems they polished it a bit more for this. The fight scenes, action, and explosions animation was really cool, clean, and colorful! I didn’t hate the cast of characters they used, but there were a few I thought weren’t needed (Shang-chi, awkafina, and Randall Park) I felt like they could’ve chosen different hero’s for them. Also I think I would’ve liked it more if it was iron heart, Kamala, and Kate for the whole show, I didn’t like that they killed them off in the first episode. I also wasn’t a fan of the dialogue and a lot of the cringe humor, did not land for me…almost at all. Went too far into Disney humor for a TVMA show. I also think they should’ve leaned more into the rating of the show. However, there were cool concepts but they didn’t take enough risks with this one. I did like scarlet witch as the queen of death and the blade-knight concept was cool, and the infinity Hulk was awesome. Just wish it was better tbh!

A worthwhile What If spinoff but still far from perfect. The concept is really cool but the plot felt kinda wacky most of the time. Animation wise it’s alright, nothing special. The ending felt quite dissatisfying and the last ep was kinda all over the place.

I really liked how the main villain is my favorite antihero Wanda and it was cool seeing certain characters interact we never got to see before.

So this had SO MUCH potential...and I understand completely why the main characters were those, they're trying to "introduce"/get us used to them...but CMON DISNEY, Kate, Kamala and the pretentious douchbag?
We're moving away from the main cast, so give us these last moments yk🤷🏽‍♂️

After so many years of waiting this didn’t disappoint it takes everything the marvel zombies episode did but better the animation kicks ass the characters are great the story is unexpected and shocking and that ending is amazing if you liked the what if episode watch this 9.2/10

expected way too much from this but some of the action was great. thats about it

this was such a good show, i loved seeing all these characters we’ve gotten to team up together that has never teamed up before. even though the deaths are so suprising it’s still so crazy. i loved that they made this too, the cliffhanger was so good. it reminds me of wandavison. i really can’t wait for season two if they make it
