Marvel Zombies

The season opened strong: Episode 1 set the tone with a solid atmosphere and the right kind of tension, while Episode 2 was the standout with its wild Mad Max vibe, high energy, and brutal gore — plus a surprise highlight in Baron Zemo. Episode 3 kept the quality up with an intense opening and some bold twists, though its tone shifted into something closer to Valhalla than New Asgard. Unfortunately, Episode 4 dragged the momentum down; not because it left questions unanswered for the future, but because it felt confusing in the moment and oddly disjointed compared to what came before.

Overall, an entertaining and stylish miniseries with some fantastic highs, but the format of four short episodes left it uneven. It might have worked even better as one cohesive animated film, where the pacing and story beats could have unfolded more smoothly.

I really enjoyed this and it was quite fun also seeing all the different characters meeting one another was cool i liked the mature rating and the kills of the zombies hopefully they make a season 2 and I can’t wait to see what happens next especially with that ending

Marvel cooked here! You could tell they cared about this and knew the fans would absolutely appreciate it if they did it well. Such a shock to me that marvel keeps taking these street level relatively boring characters and making banger shows and movies about them. Blade knight or moon blade or whatever was fucking aura incarnate, that man had me on a leash when he was on screen. I really liked the story and the way they tell it, it was kinda short and a tad rushed, but I think it helps to give you a full on carnage embodied show. The animation kinda went crazy at some parts as well, I was really skeptical of how they would handle it, considering that it’s based on What If and I don’t love how that looks as well as the new Spider-man show. But it was pulled off really well here, it looks great and when the action got intense, the animation looked colourful and vibrant.

My score: 7.5/10

I don’t want to make out that I’m a massive comic geek but seriously, Infinity Hulk couldn’t take out that zombie horde?!?!

I suppose it would have been a short episode.

Wow that was sick! I wish there were one or two more episodes but here’s hoping it gets another season 4.5/5
