There are excellent performances, lots of engaging references and the odd good scene or line, but overall it lacks substance, reality and grit.

i really liked season 1 over season 2 honestly the second season feels lazy written and idk there’s a lot of scenes that pissed me off cuz they just seemed INSANELY lazy but the first season was AMAZING absolutely loved it also there’s way too many musical scenes in s2 ngl

Loved the world building: culture, history, music (except score from the 1st season, awful!); loved the actors but the villains were weak and the show dragged a lot with unnecessary dialogue. Had they spent as much time on a good script as the ambiance it would’ve been a banger.

S1 was alright. S2 was a meh. S2 obviously sets up a change but then the show was cancelled. The writing in 2 was just awkward and cringy. S1 was ok with a decent backstory but also was messy with a lot of villains. Average to a meh.
