First show in a while that I’ve been able to watch nonstop

Absolutely a masterpiece. From the beginning to end. The story line, the plot, the climax, Ughh so freaking good. Had me balling my eyes out at the end. 🥲

The characters chefs kiss, acting chefs kiss, storyline 😽. The first episode was hard to start with but oh my does the ending hook ya. Love reese acting, not so much mia and pearl but they still ate because the story and everything MWAH. So many different messages all well done.

Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington took my breath away in this one. Such complex characters and a sequence of events that unravel the whole plot magnificently.

This series is addictive. Definitely a good binge watch. Reece Witherspoon and Kerry Washington are amazing actors in this intertwined plot that will keep you sitting on the edge of your seat.

Overall pretty good. Mysterious but also explored family dynamics and motherhood. Pretty crazy how everyone treated each other and Elena was def the worst

this deals with race and identity even more so than the book. the characters are explored much deeper and some plots/decisions are changed. izzy is a much bigger role, but mia is like a different person, and both explore sexuality not like in the book. overall good adaptation.

it felt like it took a while to get started and it focuses on motherhood in different ways. would have liked to see how izzy ended up. Reese Witherspoon amazing as always.
