based on Celeste Ng novel, Kerry Washington/Reese witherspoon did a great job portraying deception, lies, revenge and racism in this heartbreaking mini series.

The characters chefs kiss, acting chefs kiss, storyline 😽. The first episode was hard to start with but oh my does the ending hook ya. Love reese acting, not so much mia and pearl but they still ate because the story and everything MWAH. So many different messages all well done.

the storyline was intricate and had me hooked, ++ points for lesbians.

I loved the subtle portrayal of microagressions and the children’s and adults individual storylines.
I did not like: kerry W. stank face, the ending ruined it for me and all the characters got annoying.

I really enjoyed this show. I kinda wish it would’ve been longer or have a second season but it was still good.

genuinely such an interesting show, don’t get me wrong. however NONE of the characters are likeable 😭😭😭 maybe brian the bf, BUT THATS IT. they all suck. i also can never stay on anyone’s side for a long amount of time. these people all suck in their own way
