I really wanted to like it more. The overall plot is great and I liked learning about the characters. But… it seemed very disjointed and almost rushed. Which made it all seemed far fetched. That being said I will watch season 2 and suspend my beliefs.

I really tried with this show. I could not get passed how dark it was. I understand they’re looking for a gritty alien story but you physically cannot see in some of the scenes. I really really really liked the kids storyline. Battling with the bully and such. However, this just felt all over the place and I couldn’t get behind the character development. And again - it was physically so dark that I was looking at the brightness of my screen to see if that was the issue. I still am not sure if this was there intention but I think that they over did it. Really happy for those that are enjoying it, but I can say this was not for me.

I’m just typing this part to hit the 1000 character review for the I queue points. The long winded one. I really hope no one is going to read it this far. But if you are, hey. Hope your day is going well. Hope you’re watching cool shows and movies. If you have any recommendations, let me know. I’m always game to watch something new or interesting.

Has stunning visuals and an intriguing premise but falls short due to forced diversity and WOKE messaging. Most lead roles are women of color in power positions, feeling unnatural and distracting. Underdeveloped characters make it hard to connect. Great concept, poor execution.

Good Sci-fi show, although the sci-fi aspect is put on the back burner most of this season so we get to learn more about the main characters, which I personally didn’t mind. Narratively it’s very interesting, atleast for me I found myself after ev episode ready to start the next-

Wish I had the time back I took to watch this. It’s a very slow burner with little to no payoff. Just meh for me.

Watched all three seasons before reviewing because I thought it just had to get better. Simply put, it doesn't. The production quality, especially with Apple TV, never lets down, so that isn't the issue. I love the premise of a slow-burn alien invasion occurring from the point of view of everyday people across the globe. The casting is great too, apart from a few who end up with way too much screen time (Trevante). The writing for both the plots and characters is where most, if not all, problems start. It's almost like they 'planned' scenes only a day prior to shooting, with nothing but a stack of cash. The absolute plot armour certain characters have is unreal, compared to others who, just like prominent plot points, are forgotten. Will I watch S4? Yes, and I'll probably regret it, but I'm 30 episodes deep, and I still have zero answers.

S1 renewed & reinvigorated the dormant alien disaster genre, only for S2 to strip it to a melodrama where much is said but little happens. I REALLY loved S1 - the drama, horror and action are superb (S1E6 👨‍🍳💋), but S2 promised a lot w/o delivering. Maybe wait for S3 to binge.

I liked Season 1 and 2, stopped watching season 3, got kind of weird and boring.

Was just okay.

3rd series a bit meh

The first season was a bit out of place for me, but the rest definitely made up for it! Now I love all of them equally 🥹

Amazing concept of aliens

Well, it was entertaining at least and I connected with the characters but I feel like there are some plot holes, like they showed you something on s1 and they didn’t mention it again ever, that happened with a couple of things but yea, I got to finished it

It slowed down really quick after the first couple episodes and we couldn’t continue watching :(

Encore une saison qui finit en beauté.
