Invasion

I really wanted to like it more. The overall plot is great and I liked learning about the characters. But… it seemed very disjointed and almost rushed. Which made it all seemed far fetched. That being said I will watch season 2 and suspend my beliefs.

Has stunning visuals and an intriguing premise but falls short due to forced diversity and WOKE messaging. Most lead roles are women of color in power positions, feeling unnatural and distracting. Underdeveloped characters make it hard to connect. Great concept, poor execution.

Good Sci-fi show, although the sci-fi aspect is put on the back burner most of this season so we get to learn more about the main characters, which I personally didn’t mind. Narratively it’s very interesting, atleast for me I found myself after ev episode ready to start the next-

Mind-bending alien fun

Invasion (2021) is a tense, slow-burn alien thriller with emotional depth. It blends sci-fi mystery and human drama, but the pacing drags and some plot threads feel underdeveloped. Worth watching if you like thoughtful extraterrestrial stories with a heavy dose of feelings. 👽🌍💔
