the two months following my lgbt breakup i spent watching Girls slowly. Now that it is finished i am sad, it meant a lot to me and was comforting. Now it’s over, maybe i’m moving to a new chapter… exploring what is next for me

Only 3 episodes in. I have never viscerally hated a character like I hate Lena Dunham’s. Apatow has made me like characters I don’t before but holy shit this is INSUFFERABLE. Rename this show “Liberal White Girl Problems.” The girl from Get Out being the best friend adds to this😂

I understand that Hannah is supposed to be flawed and unlikable but she was just so infuriating at all times it made the show so hard to watch

It’s like a train wreck I can’t look away from. The characters are so unlikeable and insufferable, most scenes make me uncomfortable, but occasionally makes me laugh. But I can’t stop watching? Only on season 2, but might keep going…Also tired of seeing Lena Dunham’s boobs.

An authentic look into the lives of 4 starkly different “girlfriends”. It’s a mix between SATC & broad city… would have loved more episodes in general and to see what happened to some of the characters. The open ending was enough just in case they wanted to continue the story 👯‍♀️👯‍♀️

Fell in love with this show. The references, the comedy, the drama. I loved it all. It’s impressive to make a show so amazing when every character is objectively unlikable. Elijah was by far the best character in my eyes.

I thought the first season was funny but it really went downhill from there. The main character is so fucking annoying and shitty and I just couldn’t stomach her by the time I got to season 3

it was fine. funny yes but idk just didn’t get that into it

8/10: Lots of stuff I liked from this show such as the acting, to the comedy, to how real it felt at times, but by the last season I feel like some character endings were abrupt, and the final episode was underwhelming and had a lot of missed potential

gave up the rewatch but a fun show. hope to revisit in five years lol

One of my favorite shows. Reading Famesick definitely made me view this show differently if I think about it too hard because I had no idea she was going through all of that throughout the making of this show. I really wish I could watch this show again for the first time it’s so my exact humor. I love you Lena Dunham my problematic queen. So important to me

Very good, individual episodes are some of the best of all times. When you watch it all at once tho you start to hate each character. But fabulous.
