I already loved the boys a lot, but maybe it’s just because I’m younger or something, but I can tell I’m going to love this series even more. The characters, the setting, the powers, all of it just feels so much more interesting to me on a different level. This is gonna be great.

I was going to give it a higher ranking but that end really did piss me off. I swear if that is not fixed by the second season I’m going to go insane. 8.9/10 for ep 1-7, 2/10 for ep 8.

I’m so picky with what I watch and this made me cringe and skip, and i hate when a movie/ tv show is more of a sexual content than a storyline, literally on the first episode I’ve seen and heard 🍆 so many times. Nowadays it’s hard to find a good concept along with great …………

Was that my maybe 4th time rewatching? Maybe. It's not as juicy as 'The Boys', but it's definitely in the same league. It takes a bit for things to get going or to make any sense, but once it does, the satisfaction from the unravel is unreal. The vfx/sfx and acting/casting was better than expected, and the soundtrack was always trusted. 'The Boys' universe is unexplainably insane, so expect some unexplainably insane stuff. Love the satire and how good some of the special effects looked. I want so much more of this lore. I want Neuman. I want more Amazon. I want more. RIP Chance Perdomo.

OH MY DAYS!!! They managed to do a thriller-crime-gore-superhero style series with finely executed fight scenes, decapitations, multiple plot-twists and an unbelievable ending. For the “The Boys” fans is a must watch, and after this you’ll want to watch the “The Boys” again.

“Sky high but gory and sexual” 😂 I loved how this show gave us the other side of superherodom from the perspective of college students in the world of The Boys. However, what holds me back from praising this completely is the ending and how it’s abruptly w/ no conclusive story

stop im crying. i thought this was a comedy but I WAS WRONG 😭. don’t get me wrong there WAS comedy but this show is so sad already i love it so much. i’ve seen season 1 of the boys but you don’t need to watch it to understand this. i really like the characters

Honestly I think this season as a whole could’ve been better. Had they actually developed a lot of of the characters and their powers. A lot of this felt like a big recap instead of a continuation of the first season. This honestly felt like the boys season 5.5. I think the term of the first season was that you could have basic knowledge of the boys and still be able to enjoy Gen V as its own thing. A lot of characters did not progress this season. It was a lot of the same as the season before I think the first 4/5 episode episodes were the best of the season. The last 3/4 episodes were quite dull. I think I would’ve liked this season a lot better if the characters had more major developments this season. I think some of the best parts of the season were the cameos and the first major plot twist. Other than that, this season felt like a big nothing sandwich. 6/10

This is quite a story. There is a lot of grey areas. For a spin off, it is on the same level as its predecessor. And Jordan Li is one of the most interesting character in the show. I wanna see more of them.

If you like The Boys worth watching cause they make it very obvious they are going to include these characters in the main show at some point. I will say I hate the victim complex that the show pushes onto every single main character. Very obvious signs of writers strike.
