4/5 the first half was actually great! But it eventually became obvious that the director had no idea where the original story was going to go so the second half was a bit weird. But I def still recommend watching this!

The greatest anime that I have ever personally watched, it had me hooked from the very beginning and I loved every single second of it

Great series, really like the world, the power system and the story. The first half was so much more interesting than the latter, I hear there’s a movie to finish it so that comes next and I’m very interested to watch Brotherhood and see what the “actual” story was supposed to be

8/10 An amazing take on the manga, but being made while the story was still being written hurts this anime. Giving us a mess of an ending

Fullmetal Alchemist got the game of thrones treatment before GoT. original anime caught up to the story being written and forged a detour path into what they thought the story would take. Fullmetal is the complete story that includes it's overarching theme of the cost of a life.

Starts up soft and turns into an absolute monster of an anime. Everything has a meaning and everyone has a role. I absolutely adored it, only downside is it ends.

It’s definitely not as good as FMA brotherhood but because it is the same story it ends up being not as bad as people tend to say. The only thing that is really bad is the final episodes
