Story is really good. Acting choices can be a bit weird. It’s kinda camp so I like it. And although the CGI is bad it’s interesting to see what they worked with for that time. It was an aspirational project.

Great series, never got enough praise IMHO.

liked seeing scenes being adapted that were cut from the movies. glad alia is properly in this, i like her character. visually unimpressive, but is a product of its time ig. acting is over the top at times, no subtlety whatsoever. overall a good adaptation, unlike lynch's dune💀

Still have an affection for this version. Often refer to the one with Wiliam Hurt. Still underrated!

This movie made my head hurt because of the special effects they used.

5.3 - this is peak early 2000s made for tv sci-fi, so meh isn’t totally fair. The acting is spotty, the CGI is atrocious, & the costumes are ridiculous, but I had a lot of fun. The details & story ar there & it is a fun comp to the 2020 franchise. No regrets.
