Dante was not really a focal point of the show as Mary took up a lot of screen time whilst also being extremely unlikeable. Dante was constantly being beaten and the show was quite predictable. The animation was good however and the story was also good, albeit predictable.

This is literally Gojo; deadass the potential of this show was infinite but it strayed in the wrong direction, first 2 ep with the guns 😮‍💨🔥 (makes sense cuz it’s made in USA). But the 3D rendering was a lil 😔.
FYI I had to watch in Japanese, it feels wrong in Eng 🤷‍♂️

I started watching this series just because of the evanescence and papa roach soundtracks, but I didn’t expect to love this sm. After watching it I just can’t comprehend the hate this series gets. For someone who hasn’t played any games, this series was near perfection

Y’a un gros potentiel mais n’a pas été bien exécuté. Ça fait très cheap et l’animation est horrible. L’histoire aurait pu être mieux ficelée j’ai rien trouvé de spécialement marquant. Mary est insupportable et son temps d’écran est trop élevé pour ce qu’elle propose. C’était ok

As DMC it lacked a lil but only 8 episodes so hopefully they give us more. Definitely like the direction they took with the story but boy the fight scenes and soundtrack took the cake

Never played the games, and I enjoyed this so much! Soundtrack is fire. Story is interesting and fight scenes are intense and brutal. First season animation felt cheap during some scenes but is noticeably better in the 2nd one. It’s predictable but has surprises as well. 8 🍿
