This series follows a young investigator opening up an old case that the seasoned vet had closed years ago. What will she find and what web of decete will she uncover. What will come of this reinvestigation in this old murder case and what will be the consequences.

I give this series 6.3 bags of 🍿 as I enjoyed the plot. It does get a bit slow and some of the details are hard to connect the dots to the main story but overall a good series to watch. I would suggest this series as a binge watch while your interested but can get a bit sleepy in the middle. I did enjoy the ending though.

first season was stellar - could not for the life of me get into season 2. maybe i’ll try again later.

Capaldi & Jumbo are compelling in their lead roles. A story with twists and turns right to the very end of this ‘who done it’ … and who covered it up!

excellent thriller

Gripping. Gritty. Engrossing.
What I think I love most about this is how dogged the main character is. She doesn’t let anything go! She was chasing down details to the very last minute of the season and I’m so into it!

Liked season one much better though.

First season was fine but wow the second season is so bad, both main characters are completely unlikeable, the story is boring, complicated and dumb and the end is so out of the blue no explanation terrible.

Decent British whodunnit with a compelling pair of leads (and ensemble for that matter) and a story that’s good enough to guess your way to the end. Might watch the second season!

She is a really annoying person but quite a competent cop

This show didn’t really seem to have a story worth telling; A lot of other shows tackle similar themes in better more interesting ways. Very basic characters as well.

The Brits know how to do murder mystery.

I want to say I love it, but endings are so so important, and they completely messed this one up. So idk, it is quite good, like real good, but the lack of a proper closure just ugh...

Really good! Different case, kinda of all over but comes together nicely.

Excellent from both Cush Jumbo and Peter Capaldi. Well worth a watch.
