it made me feel angry despite the fact that I've read the book and i liked it. Pretty poor adaptation the characters were flat with no chemistry. Nothing like normal people despite the Dublin landscape.

I thought I would like this because of the interesting dynamic between the characters and because I loved Normal People but this does not compare. The lack of chemistry between Frances & Nick is almost detrimental and the characters are not very fleshed out. Still worth a watch.

Honestly so happy frances and bobbi ended their friendship. The whole show i was waiting for frances to cut bobbi off. Bobbi is so selfish omg😭😭😭

I tried a couple episodes but I couldn’t understand what the fuck they were saying with their accents.

granted it’s been a long time since i originally read the book but i did feel underwhelmed by this series versus the book. certain scenes felt like they hadn’t gotten their justice - ESPECIALLY the ending because i left that book so flabbergasted and full but this was lacking

Good but a few choices were a bit disappointing. Frances is not really awkward in the book as more just one of few words. It makes her come across as cool and mysterious even though she doesn’t know why. It influences all of her relationships. Being awkward is not the same

THIS WAS SO DISAPPOINTING- I absolutely loved the book, and Normal People is one of my favourite shows so I had such high hopes for this. To me, none of the characters had chemistry- it felt awkward and forced.

Idk what to feel. The characters are stupid, selfish but also I love them lol. Am I weird for rooting for Nick and Frances?! 8/10

Main characters had no chemistry. Characters get mad at dumb stuff. Kinda boring. The last few episodes get a bit more interesting. The acting is fine. The cinematography is good but also feels…predictable, somehow? Doesn’t hold a candle to Normal People.
