it made me feel angry despite the fact that I've read the book and i liked it. Pretty poor adaptation the characters were flat with no chemistry. Nothing like normal people despite the Dublin landscape.

I thought I would like this because of the interesting dynamic between the characters and because I loved Normal People but this does not compare. The lack of chemistry between Frances & Nick is almost detrimental and the characters are not very fleshed out. Still worth a watch.

Honestly so happy frances and bobbi ended their friendship. The whole show i was waiting for frances to cut bobbi off. Bobbi is so selfish omg😭😭😭

Captures Sally Rooney’s melancholic world beautifully. It’s a hypnotic, deeply intimate slow-burn that thrives on what’s left unsaid. Alison Oliver is stunningly vulnerable, and the intense chemistry between the cast makes the quiet awkwardness entirely captivating.

granted it’s been a long time since i originally read the book but i did feel underwhelmed by this series versus the book. certain scenes felt like they hadn’t gotten their justice - ESPECIALLY the ending because i left that book so flabbergasted and full but this was lacking
