What Worked:
• Yanase’s direction is wholesome. Watching Ryoma experiment with slimes feels super cozy.
• Building the laundry shop gave the plot a rewarding, practical structure.
• Tsutsumi’s acoustic score anchors the relaxed vibe, letting scenes breathe without forced drama.

What Didn’t Click:
• The conflict really dragged for me. Ryoma is overpowered and everyone is too nice; stakes feel totally flat.
• Season 2 gets bogged down in admin details, stalling Ryoma’s actual personal journey.
• Dialogue animation is stiff. I wanted dynamic expressions, not static talking heads.

Watch for an ultra-relaxing background show. Skip if you need high stakes.
