Batman: Caped Crusader Reviews

A fantastic iteration of Batman that gives depth to its heroes and villains’ motivations as well as showcasing Gotham as its own character. Really picks up a few episodes in. Batman / Bruce Wayne are clearly at the start of their career as a masked vigilante.

Its so short, I want more. I love how the villains are redesigned instead of showing the characters that you could watch anywhere else. all of the characters and atmosphere is played out so well and really brings you into 1940s gotham. can't wait for season 2

Great series nothing beats the original Animated series of Batman but this one really plays into the Detective lore of Batman from the comics.

Dark. Film noire. Edgy. Animated. New tellings of old stories and villains keeping things fresh. I absolutely love.

Season 2 finally brings some of the villain classics.

Fantastic season. Not my favorite joker portrayal though

It’s cool. Very well done. Who is this for? It’s not doing anything new. I don’t see the point other than to give us BTAS with the occasional swear word. I dunno. It’s cool. Didn’t blow me away. Still true of season 2 tbh…

good animated show. this og batman has a nice charisma. i'd like to see more bruce wayne. animation sometimes was really weird and some scenes were bad

eh the animation and the time zone I don’t like but if those were changed, it could be really good

2nd season had some cool episodes but the Joker was a bit underused

Interesting they made Joker look like Conrad Veidt from the 1928 film The Man Who Laughs(one of the inspirations for the character) and gave him a German accent.

This show is so underrated all the characters are likeable they do some good twists on Batman villains episodes 8 is a MASTERPIECE and the season finale is amazing I was a bit worried that he used an gun but it’s more played as a momentary break in character overall 8.5/10
