For a cartoon, this show very accurately depicts the stages of growing up. the main character starts out as a kid trying to save the world but gradually begins to struggle with puberty, relationships, etc. topics can be equally heavy and sweet. definitely recommend.

everything about this show is so good, itβs great at a face level but when you look into the symbolism more it does handle a couple heavy topics. one of my favorite things is how well the romantic tension between bubblegum and marceline is through the show. itβs a nice slow burn

One of the best cartoons out there. If it wasnβt for bojack horseman Iβd say it has the best character writing of any cartoon but itβs a very close second. Best world building tho, and Iβve never seen a kids show tackle these themes so perfectly while staying childlike

I absolutely love every tiny detail in this show, there is so much emotion and change is described really well. Jakes family, Prismo, Marceline and especially Fern are great. I donβt even know what to say about this show, everything is so perfect.π Also Hall of Egress is perfect.

Another classic that I grew up with
This will always have a place in my heart and I can always go back and rewatch, some episodes were kinda dark for a kids show but still very entertaining. Built up for a good story surprisingly for a long running show and great ending
