1923

Starts slow… but around episode 3 it really ramps. 3 amazing storylines going at the same time (in 1923, don’t worry lol) and you’re super interested in all of them. I was angry it ended where it did… just because it was so good. 9.7/10

All part of 1883 , then 1923, then Yellowstone!!

So good!

This Yellowstone prequel is a fantastic follow-up to 1883, anchored by Harrison Ford in probably my favorite role since Indiana Jones, just trading the fedora for a cowboy hat.

Meanwhile, Brandon Sklenar does an amazing job as Spencer Dutton, braving a continents-spanning trek just to get home.

Let’s be honest though, the real star of the show is Julia Schlaepfer as Alexandra. Her journey to Montana is both horrific and heroic, watching her transform from a sheltered society girl into a survivor. Her story is the real heartbeat for the series, making 1923 a great prequel to Yellowstone.

Along with 1883, 1923 is one of my favourite series. And I want to move to Montana.

Only watched season 1… since the show was not renewed for season three I felt it was unnecessary to watch season two knowing it ends on a cliffhanger I’m sure. Just going to skip ahead to watch Yellowstone.
